Applies to: All plans
You can pay for your Maxinodes hosting with PayPal, a credit or debit card, a bank transfer (SEPA), or cryptocurrency (including BTC, ETH, USDT and GRAM).
You manage everything to do with payments in your client area at my.maxinodes.com.
Payment methods
| Method | How it works |
|---|---|
| PayPal | Pay with your PayPal balance or any card or bank account linked to PayPal. Supports automatic renewals through a billing agreement. |
| Credit / debit card | Pay directly with your Visa or Mastercard at checkout. |
| Bank transfer (SEPA) | Pay by SEPA bank transfer in euro. Transfers can take a few working days to clear, so allow time before the due date. |
| Cryptocurrency | Pay with major cryptocurrencies, including BTC, ETH, USDT and GRAM. You get the exact amount and address at checkout, and the invoice clears once the payment is confirmed on-chain. |
You do not need a PayPal balance to pay — PayPal lets you pay with a linked card or bank account at checkout.
How recurring billing works
Hosting is a subscription, so you are billed each term for the next term in advance.
- Billing cycles: Monthly, Annual or Biennial on all plans, plus Triennial on Self-Managed. Longer cycles cost less per month — Annual saves about 16.7% ("2 months free"), Biennial about 25%, and Triennial about 33%.
- Invoices: We generate your renewal invoice a set number of days before the due date and email it to you. You can always see it under Billing -> My Invoices in the client area.
- Paying: Open the invoice, choose your payment method, and pay. See How to view and pay an invoice for the steps.
How auto-renew works
Automatic renewal keeps your service from lapsing by charging the renewal for you.
- PayPal: a PayPal subscription (billing agreement) can charge your renewal automatically. You set this up when you pay through PayPal and approve the agreement. To check or cancel it, sign in to PayPal and open Automatic Payments (sometimes shown as "Pre-approved payments") in your account settings.
- Card, bank transfer and cryptocurrency: these are paid per invoice. Pay each renewal invoice manually before its due date, or keep a PayPal billing agreement on file for hands-off renewals.
Result: With a billing agreement active, your renewal is paid automatically and your hosting keeps running. Otherwise, pay the invoice by its due date to avoid suspension.
If a payment fails or your service is suspended, see Why was my payment declined or my account suspended?.
VAT and your invoices
VAT is not charged at checkout today, because Maxinodes is not yet VAT-registered, so your invoice total is the price you see on the plan. You can still add your VAT number and company details to your profile for the future. For more, see VAT and your invoices.
