If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (a "cooling-off period") on services you buy from us at a distance. This means you can change your mind and cancel within 14 days of placing your order, without giving a reason.

Who has this right?
This right is for consumers — people buying for personal use, not as a business. If you bought through a company or as a sole trader for business purposes, the statutory withdrawal right may not apply, although our money-back guarantee may still cover you.
How long do I have?
You have 14 days from the day you place the order to tell us you are withdrawing. You do not need to give a reason.
How do I exercise it?
You can withdraw in either of these ways:
- Tell us in writing — email support@maxinodes.com, or open a request in our Help Center at support.maxinodes.com. Say clearly that you are withdrawing from your contract, and name the service or order it relates to.
- With a withdrawal form — use the model withdrawal form linked on our Right of Withdrawal page on maxinodes.com, and send it to the same address.
Any unambiguous statement counts, so you do not have to use the form, and what matters for the deadline is that you send your message before the 14 days are up. If you would rather your notice did not pass through our third-party helpdesk, email billing@maxinodes.com, which reaches us directly, or write to us by post — both are on the Right of Withdrawal page, and every route is equally valid.
Result: Once we receive a clear statement that you are withdrawing within the 14 days, we treat the contract as withdrawn and refund any eligible amounts normally within approximately 14 days. We reimburse you using the same means of payment you used, at no cost to you, unless you expressly agree otherwise — so a card payment is refunded back to the card it was paid from. The "service begun immediately" limit
There is one important limit. If you ask us to start providing a service straight away — during the 14-day window — and that service is then fully performed, your right to withdraw can be lost, in line with EU consumer rules. If the service is only partly performed when you withdraw, you may have to pay for the part already delivered.
In practice this matters for hosting that goes live immediately, and especially for domain registrations, transfers and renewals: once a domain is registered or renewed it cannot be undone, so domain fees are non-refundable once provisioned.
Withdrawal vs our money-back guarantee
These are two separate things. The 14-day withdrawal right is a statutory EU consumer right, and nothing in our guarantee reduces or replaces it. Separately, as a commercial promise, every plan is eligible for a 30-day money-back guarantee on your initial order — it does not cover renewals, and Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace subscriptions bought on your behalf are non-refundable once provisioned.
