This article walks you through ordering a Self-Managed hosting plan at Maxinodes — choosing a plan and billing cycle, adding a domain, and what happens once you pay. Self-Managed is our self-serve line: you run your own site on fast EU cPanel hosting.
What a Self-Managed plan includes
Pick the plan that fits — Self-Managed Lite (EUR 3.99/mo), Self-Managed Plus (EUR 7.99/mo) or Self-Managed Pro (EUR 14.99/mo). Each gives you:
- A live cPanel account on our LiteSpeed + CloudLinux platform.
- A Maxinodes-managed DNS zone for your domain, on our own nameservers, with records managed in your client area.
- Free SSL (AutoSSL) once your domain points to us.
- One-click WordPress installs and management via WP Toolkit.
- Self-restore backups in cPanel (JetBackup to Backblaze B2).
Self-Managed is self-serve, with email and ticket support. It has no uptime SLA and no service credits — that's a Managed feature.
Email is not hosted on the server. Professional Email is resold Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, ordered separately in the client area store.
How to order
- Sign in at my.maxinodes.com and open the store (you can browse plans first on maxinodes.com).
- Pick your Self-Managed plan and your billing cycle — Monthly, Annual, Biennial, or Triennial. Longer cycles lower your effective monthly rate (annual saves about 12.5% on Self-Managed, biennial about 25%, triennial about 33%) — the discount is built into the price, with no promo code needed.
- Add a domain — register a new one, transfer one in, or use a domain you already own and point it to us later.
- Complete the order and pay. You can pay by PayPal, card, bank transfer (SEPA) or cryptocurrency, and VAT is not charged at checkout.
Result: You receive a welcome email, your cPanel account is provisioned automatically within minutes, and your service appears under Services -> My Services in the client area.

Every plan is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee on the recurring hosting fee of your initial order — if you're not happy within 30 days of that first order, contact us for a refund.
